Eddie McDaid, Finance Director (appointed 14 November 2005)

Eddie McDaid is a Chartered Accountant and one of the co-founders of AorTech in 1992. Until the year 2002 Eddie had served as Chief Executive and latterly Chairman of the company. Eddie re-joined the Board of AorTech as non-executive director in 2005. Prior to 1992 Eddie worked in various firms of Chartered Accountants, latterly as partner in PKF Chartered Accountants and finally as partner in McDaid & Partners Chartered Accountants, a firm he founded.

Eddie was also one of the co-founders of Parklane property group and served as Chief Executive of that group for a number of years. In addition, Eddie currently holds a role as non-executive director of several Park Lane Investments Scotland Ltd companies which are private companies involved in property and land development.

He is an Audit Committee member.
