Jon Pither, Chairman, non-Executive Director (appointed Chairman 12 May 2005)

Jon is a graduate of Cambridge University. He was formerly the Managing Director of Amari plc and a Director of Selection Trust plc, Glynweld International plc and the London Metal Exchange as well as a Council Member of the CBI and President of The Aluminium Federation. He is currently Chairman or a Director of a number of public companies including Jourdan plc, Active Capital Trust plc and The Alumasc Group plc.

He is Chairman of the Audit committee and a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committees.
