Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) has been used in high volume, high precision manufacturing industries such as aerospace and automotive for years. AorTech has adapted Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) technology for use with Elast-Eon in small medical device parts.  The advantages include low-temperature rapid-processing, low injection pressures, long flow lengths, outstanding adhesion to substrates and bubble free parts.  AorTech has invested in the equipment and would be happy to discuss proof of concept E-RIM prototype manufacturing from our facility for your components.
