What is Elast-Eon™?

Elast-Eon™ is a family of the world’s leading biologically stable elastomers.  These materials are true co-polymers with high levels of silicone and polyurethane.  The very high silicone content gives the materials their proven long term biological stability and the polyurethane component gives them their advantageous mechanical properties and processing versatility.  The standard Elast-Eon™ grades span a range of hardness and are available in pellets or solutions.
Elast-Eon™’s are currently used in a number of devices in the clinic and have received regulatory approvals in most territories.
